She left the residence and arrived at her home in the vicinity of S. Alder St. and W. Park St. in Ocilla, GA. It is unknown at what time she arrived.
Her vehicle, the clothes she wore, and her cell phone were found at her residence which was locked. The only things missing from her house were her purse and keys, but her car was sitting out front.
Police were notified after Tara failed to show up for work at Irwin County High School on the following Monday morning.
Friends say that Tara, a history teacher and administrator at Irwin County High School, would never duck out of school without telling someone.
“She is just an exemplary teacher,” Suzanne Connor, wife of Principal Robby Connor and a close personal friend, said. “She lives for her students. I hope this community will rally behind her and help us to find her.”
